SEO Tactics

This is the first of many pages as I try to define and describe how I have optimized this website.

Notice the Title of the site itself "Lynchburg Web Design - ShearerHouse.net" in particular the bolded words.  These is my Keyword Phrase for my website.

Did you see "Lynchburg Web Design" as a Headline.  It is enclosed with the <H1> tags within the HTML code itself.  I have also bolded the same text within the first paragraph of my content.  If you place your mouse over the city image of Lynchburg you will see the text I placed in the ALT tag for the picture.  It too has "Lynchburg Web Design".

The point of this page is to show at a very simplistic level at how a site an be optimized for a keyword.  The goal is to acheive better search engine rankings and by utilizing several of the know HnTML tags this should be attainable.

Remember, SEO techniques should be applied so that your website can be found among the search engines.  If SE is not performed correctly then the website itself maybe destined to never be seen by anyone except you.
